Phillips SOM offers a comprehensive range of car driving tuition tailored for learners through to qualified drivers requiring refresher courses.
Our aim is to provide a high standard of driving, in accordance with the Driving Standards Agency guidelines and ensure "safe driving for life"
The car used for tuition is a Ford Focus with dual controls, power steering, electric mirrors, and A.B.S. (anti-lock brakes). The car is mid sized, offers good all round visability and is therfore an ideal choice for you to learn to drive in. Also with a 5 star Ncap rating for safety, which ensures the best car safety features available on the road.

Pass Plus is a scheme that was introduced by the Driving Standards Agency in connection with most of the UK's leading insurance companies.
The aim is to offer new drivers more training, delivered and assessed by your driving instructor, to help you improve your driving skills and also receive a discount of up to 30% upwards on your insurance policy.
This course is not a test. The course will be covered over a minimum of 6 one hour lessons.
