Instructor training

To qualify as an instructor there are three exams to pass

Part one (Unlimited Attempts)

Multiple choice to pass this you must get 85%. But you must get a minimum of 80% in each of the four sections

Hazard Perception : to pass you must get 57/75 to get you pass certificate

Part Two (Three Attempts)

Driving test : You must drive to a much higher standard that the learner test. To pass no more that 5 driver errors in a 60 minute test.

This is done in two phase

Phase One : Instructional

Phase Two : Question & Answer

This course is split into 5 sections

1.Assessment

You will drive a specific route where i will watch how to drive/control your car

2.Fault Analasys

Based apon your first drive where i will explain the faults created and develope an action plan to correct the fault(s)

3.2nd Assessment

Based apon the remedial action taken on your fault analasys.

4.Remedial action

Finalise any faults and give an action plan to correct faults.

5.Book Further Assessment(if required)

 

Why take the test?

Traffic accidents account for almost half of all accidental deaths in Britain and are the largest single cause of death and injury to young adults.


Most drivers think they are both safer and more skilful than the average driver, yet in 95% of accidents human error, mainly unsafe driving practices, is the major cause.


You realise that driving conditions change and are becoming more difficult. In order to keep pace with this you need to review, adapt and update your driving skills.
